Woven fabric
A woven band is a length of narrow fabric with the artwork produced by the weave itself rather than printed onto it, closed with a one-way slider or a sealed clip. It is the most comfortable thing you can put on a wrist for a fortnight, and it is the format guests are least likely to cut off early.

Woven, not printed
The design is created by the pattern of coloured warp and weft threads, in the same way as a clothing label. Because there is no ink, there is nothing to fade — a woven band looks the same on day fourteen as on day one. The trade-off is resolution: weave detail is limited by thread count, so fine serif type and photographic gradients do not survive. Bold marks, clear sans-serif text and blocks of colour reproduce well.
Where the chip lives
For RFID versions the transponder sits in a sealed pocket at the closure, or in a small welded module on the band face. The sealed-pocket construction keeps the wrist profile flat, which matters when a guest is sleeping in the band for two weeks. Read range is slightly shorter than a moulded silicone band because of the offset, but well within what a wall reader needs.
Comfort over long stays
Polyester weave breathes, dries within minutes of leaving a pool, and does not trap water against skin the way a solid band can. On stays beyond about ten days this becomes the deciding factor: the most common reason guests remove a band early is not that it fails, it is that it becomes unpleasant. Woven bands are removed early far less often, which is worth more than the small unit-price difference.
Closures
A one-way plastic slider allows the band to be tightened but not loosened, so it cannot be transferred without cutting. A sealed metal clip is more secure again and cannot be removed without a tool. Choose the slider for guests, the clip for multi-day events where transfer is a real revenue risk.
