Flexible PVC
Vinyl
Vinyl sits between paper and silicone: waterproof and reusable, but soft enough to be uncomfortable over a long stay and vulnerable to exactly the sun creams a beach guest applies. We supply it because for some jobs it is the right economics, and we will say plainly when it is not.

Supplied in these constructions
Bands carrying a transponder are encoded to the lock scheme your property already runs, before dispatch. All third-party marks are the property of their respective owners. Any reference indicates compatibility only and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
Where vinyl is genuinely the right answer
Multi-day events of three to seven days, where you need a waterproof band with a secure snap closure and the volume makes silicone hard to justify. It holds a printed logo well for that period, the snap cannot be reopened without visible damage, and the unit cost sits meaningfully below a moulded band.
Where it is not
A full season at a beach property. Plasticisers migrate out of flexible PVC over time, particularly under UV and heat, and the band stiffens and eventually cracks. Sunscreen accelerates this and lifts surface print. If you are reordering vinyl every six weeks, you are not saving money — you are paying for the same wrists three times a season and absorbing the replacement labour.
The honest comparison
Per unit, vinyl is cheaper than silicone. Per wrist per season, it usually is not. Ask for the total including expected replacements before deciding, and if the numbers are close, take the silicone — a band that has to be replaced mid-stay costs you a guest interaction as well as a band.
