Silicone
Silicone is the only material on this page that treats a resort environment as unremarkable. Salt, chlorine, sun cream and forty degrees of sun are the four things that end most wristbands early, and silicone resists all four. It is also the only substrate here where the artwork is part of the band rather than a layer on top of it.

Why the artwork outlives the print
On a debossed band the logo is cut into the mould, so the artwork is a shape in the material itself. There is nothing to scratch off, nothing to fade and nothing to peel. Screen printing is available where you need a colour the band is not, but understand the trade: printed silicone will eventually abrade at the high points, particularly on a band worn every day for a season. If longevity matters more than colour, deboss it.
Durometer, and why it is the spec nobody asks about
Hardness is measured on the Shore A scale. We supply at 50 Shore A as standard, which is firm enough to hold a clean debossed edge and soft enough that a guest forgets they are wearing it. Softer bands feel better in the hand at the sales meeting and stretch out of shape by week three. Harder bands hold their shape and start to feel like a cable tie. Fifty is the compromise that survives contact with real wrists.
Sunscreen is the real enemy
Most wristband failures at a beach property are chemical, not mechanical. High-factor sun creams contain avobenzone and octocrylene, which soften many thermoplastics and lift printed inks. Silicone is unaffected by both. This is the single most common reason a property that has been reordering cheap vinyl every six weeks switches to silicone and stops thinking about it.
Colour matching
Pigment is mixed into the material before moulding, so colour is consistent through the full cross-section — a scuffed band does not show a different colour underneath. We match to a supplied physical reference or a printed swatch. Screen-matching from a hex value alone is possible but will not be exact, and on a brand colour that difference is usually visible.
